Sophie Legault lives and works in Concord, Massachusetts. In her practice, she uses oil paint to make a connection between natural environments and her own experiences within them. She also uses other mediums to explore personal experiences and natural elements.

In 2026, she will receive her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Studio Art at Endicott College. Legault has been part of two student invitational exhibitions at Endicott College, where she received the Rising Star Award for one of her paintings, She has also been included in the “Members Juried 1: Painting + Sculpture 2025” at Concord Art in Concord, MA and the “Members Open” at the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill in Truro, MA. She has interned with both the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill as well as in the art classroom at Glenn Urquhart School. This year she is focused on finishing her senior capstone project and exploring the artistic community in her hometown. Outside of the studio, Sophie loves to go on nature walks and curl up with a good book alongside her two cats Ti and Dunkin.
